RF Switches
Pasternack RF switches are passive microwave devices that route a high frequency RF signal through a set transmission path. RF switches from Pasternack are most commonly used in microwave test systems for routing varying RF signals between instruments, allowing multiple tests to be performed at the same time using the same setup. We carry three basic types of RF and microwave switches including PIN diode switches, RF electromechanical relay switches (RF relays) and manual RF switches. Many of our RF and microwave switches are RoHS and REACH compliant.
50 Ohm RF switches are available with SMA, BNC and N connectors, while our 75 Ohm varieties have Type N and BNC connectors only. We carry many different switch configurations including single-pole-single-throw (SPST) switches, 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm single-pole-double-throw (SPDT) switches, double-pole-double-throw (DPDT) switches, single-pole-three-throw (SP3T) switches, single-pole-four-throw (SP4T) switches, single-pole-six-throw (SP6T) switches, single-pole-eight-throw (SP8T) switches, single-pole-ten-throw (SP10T) switches, A/B coaxial RF relays and transfer switches. Our broadband RF switches have frequency capabilities ranging from DC to 40 GHz depending on type and style and very low VSWR. Pasternack Enterprises’ RF switch products have a power rating between 0.5 Watts and 35 Watts and a maximum speed threshold between 100 and 250 nanoseconds (nsec).
The ISO 9001:2008 registered Pasternack facility ships all RF switches from stock the same day you order them.
